Swimming pools

is the largest pool.
It is open from May 1 till October 31 from 9.00 to 22.00 hour. Shower, toilet and bar facilities are available. Chairs and parasol bases are provided. Bring your own beds, towels and parasols.
Please be careful with the parasols. The wind can be strong at times and the parasols are not built to be used as a wind shield!
The pool water is constantly filtered and chemicals are applied automatically to ensure the water is clean and save to swim.

Some rules apply for the use of our swimming pool. All owners, their guests and renters must adhere to the rule.
Owners are responsible for the proper behaviour of their guests and renters. Guests have access to the swimming pool while accompagnied by an owner.
Read the pool rules before using the pool.Pool heatingOur swimming pools are not heated. During winter time and early spring, depending on your personal taste, the water might be a little too cold for swimming.
Suggestions have been made to heat the water by using solar panels. However, the cost would be (too) high. One of our owners made, after the 2016 Annual General Meeting, an effort to explain the high cost:
I want to make more clear to all of you what I tried to explain at the meeting.
I think that everybody remembers from school that 1 Kcal is that amount of temperature which is needed to increase 1 litre of water by 1 Celsius degree.
So to heat up one cubic with one Celsius, it needs energy 1000 Kcal.
To same end result we get using resistance 1,16 Kw for one hour (1,16 Kwh).
To produce this amount of electric with sun panels (size 1,5 m/2) takes about one day. Depends of clouds and raining. Because the heating has to be done night time, the electric has to be stored into batteries. Suitable battery size could be 120 Ah per panel.
Night time water heating needs heat exchangers.
So if pool size is approximately 33 m x 15 m x 1,5 m = 750 cubics, so the demand of panels
are 750 pcs. + same amount of batteries + same amount of exchangers.
With this method water tempature is increased by 1 Celsius degree.
With other method like electric heating, depending of electic price it could about € 100 -200 per day.
