Staying in Holiday Village

Happy New Year

(02-01-2019)
Dear Owners,

It is hard to believe that another year has come to an end and we are just beginning 2019! Mutlu Yeni Yillar – May we take this opportunity to wish all Owners a very Happy New Year from the Board and Manager of Holiday Village!

Many people took advantage of the facilities here at the Complex during 2018 and we look forward to welcoming you back over the coming months. We hope that you enjoyed your time at Holiday Village.

As agreed at the AGM held in May 2018, a shelter over the car parking area between A and B Blocks has been installed, with a further one scheduled to be in place early in 2019, in the car park between B and C Blocks. The elevators in B1 and D2 have been repaired and are now in good working order. A new ramp has been installed at B1 to assist those who have mobility issues etc. Necessary repairs will be carried out in the early months of 2019 on the pools and slides and other communal areas, as necessary, to ensure that everything will be in good working order when the 2019 season begins.

You are aware from the website and previous correspondence that the Annual General Meeting takes place on Monday May 27th 2019. It is always wonderful to see Owners take this opportunity to be represented at this annual meeting where all Owners can take some responsibility for the management of our Complex. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please ensure that the Power of Attorney, which will be available on the website, is forwarded to someone who will represent you at the meeting, or forwarded to Murat at the Holiday Village office. If there are any questions or comments that you would like raised at the meeting, please forward them by e-mail to the governing board.

A reminder that the Fee for the coming year is due by January 31st 2019. Please be aware that if the fee is not paid in full by this date, a monthly penalty of 5% will be added on to the amount owed. We are very grateful to those Owners who have already paid this as it helps greatly when making future plans. Again, given the recent fluctuations in the currency, it is clear that having this fee based on the Euro, was the right financial decision for the Complex, as it helps protect against a more uncertain financial future. An example of this, would be the recent Government directive, to register all properties and land, which came at a cost to the Complex of 72000TL, which was not previously planned for in the budget.

Many thanks for all the support that you have given the Manager and Board over the past year and we look forward to working with in the future.

Kind Regards,

Ludo Scevenels (Chairman), Jussi Valimaki and Cathal Gregory. (Board of Holiday Village)
